October has arrived in Lowestoft, and there’s a lot happening at JOJO’S this month.
While the nights might be getting darker and the temperature is definitely heading in the wrong direction, things around here are only getting busier. From a transformation taking place both inside and outside the building to spooky season plans we’re not quite ready to reveal yet, October is looking like a good one.
You Might Have Noticed the Scaffolding…
If you’ve walked past JOJO’S recently, it’s pretty hard to miss!
The scaffolding is up and work is underway on the outside of the building, with painting and improvements giving the place some much-needed TLC.
Don’t worry, we’re still here doing what we do best while the work continues. Think of the scaffolding as a sign that there are exciting things happening behind the scenes.
And There’s Even More Happening Upstairs
The outside isn’t the only part getting some attention.
Work is continuing on the top two floors above JOJO’S, as we transform them into a brand-new venue for Lowestoft.
The plans include a stylish, modern space for live gigs, private hire, themed DJ evenings and exclusive events, and we’re getting closer to seeing it all come together.
Renovations have already uncovered a few surprises too, including some beautiful multi-coloured glass hidden away on the doors. We love finding little pieces of the building’s character along the way, and there could still be plenty more waiting to be discovered.

Christmas Has Officially Arrived at JOJO’S!
This week saw the launch of our brand-new Christmas menu, packed with festive favourites, indulgent specials and a few over-the-top creations that only JOJO’s could get away with.
From Mac & Cheese Yorkies and burgers loaded with pigs in blankets, to festive cocktails, decadent desserts and our Santa’s Supper Feast Tray, there’s something to get everyone into the Christmas spirit.
Whether you’re planning a festive get-together, a family meal or just looking for an excuse to swap the turkey sandwiches for something far more exciting, our Christmas specials are now available and ready to sleigh your taste buds.
Colder Days Call for JOJO’S
October also means we’re firmly back in cosy food territory.
Whether it’s warming up with a hot chocolate, heading in for breakfast, grabbing a burger at lunch or settling down for dinner and cocktails, there are plenty of excuses to escape the colder weather.
And yes, the Bun Lovin’ Criminal is still at large. Get any House Burger with skin-on fries and slaw for £16.95 from 5pm every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.*
